
Stuffed Nasturtiums!
INGREDIENTS:
- handful of large, fresh nasturtium flowers
- 4 oz softened cream cheese or soft goat cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or lemon verbena
- Pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Gently rinse the flowers with cold water and pat them dry.
- In a small bowl, mix the cheese, chives, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Remove the stamens from the center of each flower if you prefer.
- Using a small spoon or piping bag, place about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture into the center of each flower.
- Gently fold the petals inward to cover the filling.
- Serve immediately or chill for a short time before serving
