Stuffed Nasturtiums!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. handful of large, fresh nasturtium flowers
  2. 4 oz softened cream cheese or soft goat cheese
  3. 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  4. 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or lemon verbena
  5. Pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Gently rinse the flowers with cold water and pat them dry.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cheese, chives, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Remove the stamens from the center of each flower if you prefer.
  4. Using a small spoon or piping bag, place about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture into the center of each flower.
  5. Gently fold the petals inward to cover the filling.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for a short time before serving
